A black suitcase containing parts of a dismembered body found near the southbound Rawang exit along Malaysia's North-South Expressway. The police are investigating the murder case of the foreign victim.

A post-mortem examination was conducted on a murder victim found near Rawang, Malaysia yesterday. The victim had been chopped up into parts and stuffed into a bag. The examination showed that the victim sustained multiple blows and injuries inflicted by a sharp weapon.

Sungai Buloh district police chief, Superintendent Shafa’aton Abu Bakar confirmed that the victim was a foreigner and a non-Muslim. The police have recorded a statement from one witness and are continuing their investigation to identify the victim.

It was reported that a luggage containing pieces of a chopped-up human body was found along the North-South Expressway near the Rawang Selatan interchange (northbound) at 2pm. Parts of the deceased’s remains were also found lying on the grass near the bag. The police found a black suitcase containing body parts at Km 477 of the North-South Expressway, close to the Rawang Selatan exit.

The head, both arms, and legs of the victim were missing. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. The forensic team and the K9 unit are also conducting further investigations.
